Founded over 15 years ago by Lalena "Lily" Kotasek, Collaborative Concepts Marketing was built on a single belief: businesses deserve a true partner, not just a vendor. From day one, we've delivered hands-on, strategy-first marketing to companies that need more than cookie-cutter campaigns — they need someone who understands how a real business actually works.
From the Field, Not Just the Classroom
In addition to studying marketing, Lily came from the field. A 4x business owner and second-generation construction professional, she spent decades managing profit margins, navigating sales cycles, and directing teams before ever putting "marketing agency" on a business card.
She worked her way up to VP of Marketing at United Van Lines, overseeing more than $100K/month in ad spend across 15 domestic locations, and served as IT Director in wholesale distribution and manufacturing — a rare technical depth most marketers simply don't have.
When she founded Collaborative Concepts in Montgomery, TX, she brought all of that real-world experience with her — and built an agency that serves complex businesses other agencies struggle to understand.
